Craig Park in Brea, CA is a perfect place for a family portrait. Lots of green grass and huge trees allow for great light in lots of different places. If you walk back a little ways you’ll also run into a small lake. All this in Orange County?


This little guy was real camera shy at first. You’ll see though, a little bit of time worked a lot of magic.


If you have a trouble getting your little one to smile in pictures, just bring a crazy uncle to make funny noises in the background.

Most of my wedding work is done in Orange County, but a few times a year I get to drive down to beautiful San Diego and shoot. This was my first time at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, CA! A very cool place that opened in 1926 – the elevator still has a sliding grate door and is operated by an employee. The wedding of Lindsay and Billy Childress was fantastic. There were tons of great photos from the day including the following few from the ceremony . . .
