Vietnamese Wedding Photography | Los Angeles Photographer

April 15, 2008

I have really enjoyed photographing colorful Asian weddings over the last few years. They generally start in the morning with a traditional tea ceremony, lunch is then served, an American ceremony follows and then finally a large dinner reception with TONS of food. During this day the bride will change her dress 2-3 times! Christine and David had a awesome day that started early in the morning in Menlo Park and ended late at night in Sherman Oaks. This first formal picture (I love it!) shows the bride in her Vietnamese dress for the tea ceremony. . .

A tearful mother putting jewelry on her daughter during the tea ceremony . . .

These next xouple shots were captured by my assistant Jost . . . the flower girl watches as Christine changes into the American dress . . .

A cool as Christine gets out of the car at the church . . .

Once again, check out the fantastic colors involved at St. Joseph the Worker in Canoga Park . . .

For those photographers who have a hard time finding a decent background (haha) . . .

A stop at Griffith Park with the wedding party . . .

Another formal shot of the bride/groom . . . j/k! . . .
