Every fourth of July weekend I head over to Long Beach at some point to take photos of the Maxwell family. They are so much fun and they have honestly welcomed me into their home like they have known me for their entire lives. This year we met at the Queen Mary and spent alot of time walking around the “boat” beaking up into groups.

You can see how great a task it would be to get everyone together for one day, and then to get them all in one photo! hahah . . .

Sometimes it’s hard to choose pictures for the blog! I wonder if I should choose pictures that I love, choose pictures that showcase the venue, or choose pictures that I think a client would like. I realise that the images that I really like are not always the ones that everyone else will like. The Turnip Rose in Costa Mesa is one of my favorite venues to shoot at because it is so complex. The lighting is diverse and challenging, the architecture is beautiful, and of course the food is awesome!! haha.
