Fun evening with Joey and Brianne in Newport and Laguna Beaches! Brianne definitely scores points for being the wild one – Joey is a little more serious but definitely enjoys the ride. We stopped off first at the Villa Nova Restaurant in Newport Beach to reminisce about the night they got engaged and then we went down to Laguna Beach.

Help me! I can’t stop taking pictures in Laguna Beach!! It’s because I love it! . . . Not only do I get to have fun with my clients, but every time the water wraps around my feet I feel so fortunate and happy. Melody and Brian are the ultimate in playfulness and romance. They truly enjoy one another’s company and are excited to have their very first kiss on their wedding day! I have been experimenting with adding textures to some of my images and am enjoying the final outcome on many of them . . .

Check out Pierre and Jody, making time in beautiful Laguna Beach! They drove down from Manhattan for a few hours of LOVE. We had so much fun on this absolutely gorgeous day, even though we lost a shoe to the ocean . . .

Pierre and Jody will be getting married this year at the beautiful Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, CA.

Carrie and Brian were excited to meet at TeWinkle Park Costa Mesa in the heart of Orange County to get some engagement photos done. These two lovebirds were very relaxed as they fed the ducks, played and flirted for a little while. Made for some great images . . .

They went with the standard black top/jeans for their session, which always looks great in photos. My eyes are drawn right to their faces . . .

Nothing like a little texture to add a little more emotion . . .

There is a saying “Those who love deeply, never grow old.” This is so true with Patti and Dirk in Redondo Beach for their engagement pictures! They were like teenagers dancing on the pier, laughing at each other, giving piggy back rides and playing in the water! They were a lot of fun and I am really looking forward to their intimate wedding in Redondo Beach.


These vendors wanted us to show some appreciation for their shell fish! hahaha . . .

I am not sure how they ended up like this, but it was great . . .

By far, my favorite Orange County beach for engagement pictures is Laguna Beach. There are so many hidden areas for photography – it’s nice to be away from large groups of people and any other photographers. Colorful rock formations, clean sand and beautiful ocean are the setting for Laguna Beach Engagement pictures. Doug and Andrea made my job so much easier as they had a really enjoyable time taking photos together . . .

Another perfect day in Southern California and great day for engagement pictures. Manhattan Beach is definitely my favorite Los Angeles beach community; it has a great feel downtown with lots of little shops and bars, lots of recreation, big wide clean beach and lots of photo opps. Laura and Steve are a great story – they met in Colorado, had their first date in Las Vegas, and just moved from Los Angeles to Portland. They love being together, wherever that may be . . .
